I bet you thought I gave up....

I didn't.

Cap is on hull. Next step is to seal and glass them together. I'd upload a pic but this thing is being whacky on my phone.

Well the hull got a slathering of Coat-it epoxy coating since I'm not setup to gel coat properly.

If all looks good in the morning I'll be able to flip her back over, slide the hull on the trailer and set the cap on.

More grinding

With the hull flipped over it was time to look for spots where the core wasn't fully bonded to the hull. As I suspected the very back where the previous repair job was done didn't bond well.

I'll be grinding out a 2'x3' section and reglassing.

Flip it

Boat is flipped over. My back is broken.
Back to sanding and glassing.

Boat Cart

This will slide under the tunnel and allow me to roll the boat hull outside.

Built from stuff laying around the garage rather than going out and buying a could floor jacks.

Long time no post

Kitchen and living room have consumed all my time. I'll be back at it soon.

My plan to use Awlgrip isn't going to happen. Instead I'm using Imaron.

More in that later.

In the mean time...
